Welcome to Omar Rane's web site and The Tone Palace Recording Studio. Omar Rane is A Jazz, Blues, Rock and Classical Guitarist and The Tone Palace is Taos New Mexico's premier Recording Studio for Recording, Mixing, Mastering, and Audio Editing.
Omar Rane has been voted "Best of Taos County" as Best Jazz Musicain/Performer for 2007, 2008 and 2009, and his Band, The Monkey Feeders, won Best Rock Group for 2011 and 2012. Omar Rane has also won multiple awards in the New Mexico Music Awards including "Best Engineer" for 2005 and "Best Recording of a Live Performance" for 2008. Omar also mixed the CD "Hot Water" by Vivian Thomson, which won "Best CD of The Year" and "Best Western Song" for 2008 and he recorded, mixed and mastered El Groupo Mezcals CD, "Se Los Llevo" which won 5 awards at the New Mexico Hispanic Music Awrds this year.
The Tone Palace is the place to put the finishing touches on your home studio project or have Omar help you produce your CD from the idea stage through to the final product. The Tone Palace is also the place to find, or have composed for you, the perfect soundtrack for your Movie, Documentary, TV show or Radio ad.
